School Meals & Menu

School Meals:

Free school meals are available for all children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2. This is due to a Government Policy which was introduced.

Children in Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 can access a hot school dinner at a cost of £2.20 per day, £11.00 per week. All payments for school dinners must be paid via parent pay in advance of your child receiving them. If you have any problems accessing parent pay please ask at the school office for guidance - 0151 522 5748.

Our School Meals Provider:

Food for Thought serves over 50,000 meals each month in its twenty schools in Liverpool.  For the last two years, having achieved the Soil Association's Gold Award, all their kitchens serve, in the main, free range and locally sourced meat, fish, fruit and vegetables.  They are very proud of the fact that they are the only school meals' company in Liverpool to achieve this prestigious standard in the quality and sustainability of food they use in all their kitchens.

Free Fruit- Reception, Years 1 and 2

Children are provided with daily fruit which is provided by the Local Authority free of charge. The fruit is varied throughout the term.

Free Milk- Reception, Years 1 and 2

Children are also provided with a daily drink of fresh milk which is provided by school. The school milk will not only provide them with essential nutrients, but it is re-hydrating and energy boosting. It also bridges the gap between breakfast and lunch time to help children stay focused. School pays for this so there is no cost to families.

Our school is open for children of Key Workers and vulnerable children Year 6, Reception and Year 1 from 7th July. For our 'Welcome Back' video from Mrs Wrigley, please go to our Parents section/ Returning to school after Lockdown to view.
