Parents Open Days

On a number of days throughout the School year we organise 'Open Days' for parents to have the opportunity to spend time with your child in their classroom. It is a chance to see their work and take part in some of the activities your child is currently undertaking in their day.

Below are some of the comments from parents who came along in July 2018:

(Year 1 parents)

'My son really enjoys this class very much. It has been nice to see his progression.'

'It was really good seeing what kind of work they do - such hard words already! My son was really happy that I came in.'

(Year 4 parents)

'Very positive and dedicated staff. On behalf of the parents and children - thank you.'

'A great opportunity to watch them inter-acting with each other. It was really interesting to look through their books and see how enthusiastic they are about learning.'

'Great opportunity to see what goes on at school. The kids really had fun doing the drone! Was good to look through my son's work and remind me where his strengths and weaknesses are so we can praise the positive and work on the areas that need it.'

'Thoroughly enjoyed the stay and play session with my daughter's class. Thank you for such a wonderful opportunity to do so and would love for this to be a regular occurrence/event.'

(Year 3 parents)

'Lovely day looking at the children's work, also the drama class really build's their confidence which is great to see!'

'It was brilliant to see the range of activities the children get involved with, so carried and practical. Thank you.'

Our school is open for children of Key Workers and vulnerable children Year 6, Reception and Year 1 from 7th July. For our 'Welcome Back' video from Mrs Wrigley, please go to our Parents section/ Returning to school after Lockdown to view.
