Remembrance Day/ World War One Centenary in School

We have done lots of things in school this week to commemorate the Centenary of the end of World War One. We bought/sold poppies, produced artwork, composed and read poems and had assemblies in which we observed a minute's silence to remember those who had died as a result of the War.

Some of our Year 3 children shared their thoughts on what they have learnt: click here

You can also see our younger children observing a minute's silence

Friday 13th December: Reception Trip to Croxteth Park Farm & Christmas Jumper Day for Years 3 to 6. Thank you.
